FWIW the recent Java failures have been fixed (thanks to the Java hackers!) on SPARC, so the 4.0.0pre compiler is now regression-free for all languages on sparc-sun-solaris2.9 (as well as sparc64-sun-solaris2.9). -- Eric Botcazou
