You should run "make -k check" instead. See: http://gcc.gnu.org/install/test.html Having said that, I did bootstrap this prerelease tarball successfully on i686-pc-linux-gnu (c,c++,java), but "make -k check" in the toplevel build folder always exited with an error for every sub-folder it traversed into (something about set_ld_library_path_env_vars). I'm sorry I didn't get the time to investigate this further to see if it's a genuine issue with the prerelease tarball or just some SNAFU in my setup.
