Nothing, you just ran into the lack-of-manpower problem. Sorry! And I
can't even help, I'm not a ppc maintainer. But you definitely didn't do
anything wrong. This patch is clearly trivial enough that there's no
copyright issues to worry about, but you could post it to the gcc-patches list
for better visibility.
