After a bit of a search, I have come to the conclusion that The Xscale chip does not have VFP, though one Wiki description describing one variant as having dsp extensions(VFP) muddied the waters a bit.
The remaining question is, can the Xscale dsp extensions be put to work by using gcc with the Xscale switch or would that need support in unixlib?
