So it looks like the constant expression gets wrong evaluated.  I suppose you
can reproduce this just as well using:

--8<--
#include <math.h>

double a = sqrt(2.);
--8<--

When converting to assembler:

$ gcc -S -o - -c foo.c

You should see:

    .word    1073127582
    .word    1719614413

I guess you will have different .word values.

I'm wondering if this isn't a VirtualRPC-Adjust specific issue, is this
configured to emulate a StrongARM processor ?
