Just to clarify, are you getting that error when building gcc4 (ie ./build-world in the SVN tree) or when building *with* gcc4 (ie arm-unknown-riscos-gcc helloworld.c or compiling a program on RISC OS)? In other words, what's the difference between your first two paragraphs above?
