Hi, I wonder if it is really necessary. On Fedora 9, which is known for being rather cutting edge distro, some pieces of software are too old for latest gchemutils: libgsf: requires 1.14.9, 1.14.8 present intltool: requires 0.40.0, 0.37.1 present All these deps are satisfied in the development branch of Fedora, aka rawhide. While I probably could convince libgsf maintainer to build 1.14.9 for the released branch as well, I suppose intltool update would probably be a bit harder to obtain. So, is intltool that recent really essential for gchemutils, or would it be possible to lower this dependency?
