I tried building Version_2_6_11pre on 32 bit cygwin. Not sure if it
supposed to work, so ignore this if it is premature.
The first build, using "./configure --enable-ansi --enable-dynsysgmp"
failed due to a missing rpc/xdr.h.
I then tried "./configure --enable-ansi --enable-dynsysgmp
--disable-xdr --disable-xgcl --disable-japi", which failed with
../unixport/saved_pre_gcl.exe ../unixport -system-p -c-file -data-file
-h-file -compile gcl_sharp
makefile:25: recipe for target 'gcl_sharp.o' failed
make[1]: *** [gcl_sharp.o] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory '/usr/local/src/gcl/gcl/lsp'
makefile:77: recipe for target 'unixport/saved_gcl' failed
make: *** [unixport/saved_gcl] Error 2
rm h/mcompdefs.h
At this stage I gave up.
