Greetings!  Previous releases were tested using virtual boxes using MaOS
Catalina and Windows cygwin.  For the former there appears to be
'homebrew' and 'fink', while the latter is tested under cygwin.  I
imagine both systems are now capable of running a virtual linux
subsystem, which may indeed be the preferred route nowadays.  I would
love to hear from real users of these systems on how they expect GCL to
be incorporated on their systems, including the GCL dependencies of gcc
and gmp.
