Greetings! This is just to announce that we have our macos arm port working, and no obstacles remain any longer to the 2.7.2 release.
If anyone has anything *simple* they would like to get in before release please let me know. There is a bug in mac clang 17 and 21 in which at -O1 and higher the compiler ignores a variadic function pointer declaration and compiles calls through it as a call to a fixed arg function. This is sensitive to the location of the call within the function (i.e. close to exit). gcc-15 does not show the issue. If anyone knows anything about this please let me know as well.
