Log:
First stage in implementing an image cache system. Resized thumbnails are
generated and saved when required. Results in a dramatic speed up when using
hi-resolution artwork. TODO: test a lot, cache default image as well as
thumbnails, decide if optimization loop is still required (probably not?), work
out when cache needs to be re-generated
