Over a larger area, the column mode will freeze all of Geany to a point where I have a to kill the program.
Steps to reproduce: 1. take a text file over 10k rows 2. change to column mode 3. highlight the first column and keep pressing page down 4. after about the 4k row geany becomes progressively unresponsive
