I am running Geany .2 on Ubuntu 11.10. I have followed these suggested steps to the letter: http://askubuntu.com/questions/68507/problems-with-using-themes-in-geany
But when I select a Color under View -> Editor -> Color nothing happens. If I close Geany and reopen it has set back to Default. I am totally new to Geany but would really like to try it out as a replacement editor.
