This is a bug with Google Gears in Chrome. Steps to reproduce: 1. Use Google Gears (e.g. in gmail or Google Groups) 2. Close the lid on my Windows Vista laptop to suspend it 3. Open up the lid of the laptop again.
Result: A message will appear from Chrome saying that "the following plugin is unresponsive" and gears will then be disabled. Workaround: reload the page and then gears works again. This is annoying. I searched this group for the word "crash" and didn't see a duplicate entry. Thank you.
