We have been using gears for our project, but lately we have found issues of incompatible plugins on clients side. We are using Internet Explorer . On the gears troubleshooting page we found gears incompatibility with Yahoo! plugins. But I am afraid this is not the only plugin conflicting with gears. I found a similar alert (Incompatibility alert) when we had Adobe plugins installed too. Once we removed these plugins everything worked fine.
We have actually made two pages offline in our application. And strangely only one of the pages throws up this error (conflict with Adobe plugin). We can ask our clients to do away with Yahoo! toolbar , but not Adobe. Is there any way we can find a work around for this ?
