Richard,

I updated your geary.appdata.xml file, ran it through appdata-validate, and have committed it to master. A couple of questions:

* This file doesn't need to be installed, correct? It merely needs to be present in the tarball?

* It's stored in the /desktop directory. Does GNOME Software search recursively for the file?

Cheers,

I wasn't sure if we'd get an AppData file in for our upcoming release, but since you've given us a start here, we'll try and make it happen. You can

Awesome, thanks.

We probably won't have a translated version ready for this initial release;

Yes, that's 100% fine for now. I'll be sorting out the translation
bits in a few months when 3.10 is out of the door and I'll add a lot
more details to the spec page. Until then, en_US is fine.

Richard.
