Please refrain from buying P.cepediana, P.ornata and
P.guimbeaui as they are illegally collected and sold legally. Something is
wrong with some CITES authorities in Europe as they have been informed many
times about this. P.guimbeaui is more endangered than the Indian tiger!

All I can say is this" Let him that is without guilt cast the first stone!" I
am growing tired of this sanctimonius way that some breeders have of wanting
to point fingers in any direction other then themselves! When they can show
me they dont have animals from dubious sources in their collections such as
Phelsuma serraticauda, flavigularis, etc that arent of recent importation I
will be happy to listen! I daresay there isnt a really good collection of
Phelsumas in Europe that isnt in someway tainted.
Phelsumas reproduce far faster then tigers do and I seriously doubt that they
are as endangered since the demand isnt what it is for Tigers on a worldwide
scale! This doesnt make the whole thing right by any means but me thinks thou
protests too loudly!:-)

few who learn by observation. The rest of them have to pee on the
electric fence for themselves.
