Hi Steve,

That type of cricket die-off happened to me one time all of a sudden.  I finally
realized I had pulled out a "critter keeper" to dump them in that I hadn't used
for a while (at least 6 months).  That "critter keeper" had previously been used
for a cornsnake that had mites and I had sprayed it with Provent-a-Mite.  Six
months later, it was still killing bugs.
