Julie, It never "hit" me about the age of the
crickets! Duh! They are adults! How "long" should you
expect adults to live once you receive them? Should I
buy the sub-adults to make them last longer (keep
alive longer)? I am feeding anoles, tree frogs, geckos
(leopard and crocodile), firebelly toads, and whenever
he wakes up, a beardie!
> Try switching from chick mash to oat bran.
The reason I was using Chicken Mash was due to the
advice in "The Leopard Gecko Manual" by Phillippe de
Vosjoli (pg. 20) and "Gecko's - A Complete Pet Owner's
Manual" by R. D. Barlett and Patricia P. Barlett (p.
37). I have only been giving them very little fresh
vegetables... money's been short and it's been for us!
Question... if the veggies are no longer appetizing
for us... brown or soft... is it still safe to give it
to the crickets? No rotten or moldy, just going soft
or bruised?

1,000

Haven't "checked" the temp level, but will do it
today.

I got a shipment today... none dead it the box at all!
I was surprised. I put them in the tote, with some
sawdust in the bottom, a dish of dry food, a dish of
Flukers gel, a 1/2 apple, 4-6 baby carrots, 1 medium
potato... and 3 alfalfa cubes.... is that okay?
Thanks so much for all of the advice, opinions, etc.
I really appreciate it...
