Hi-
I have kept cepediana for 4 years and have never seen any aggression. Not
even male to male agression.
I have a tank with 1.5 or so I thought. They have been together for almost a
year. Some even longer than that. Turns out it was really 2.4.
Yesterday out of nowhere, not an hour after I did a head count, I witnessed
my male with his jaws clamped around the face of a tailless cepediana-
whipping him back and forth.
When I got him into another tank it was obvious that he had taken a severe
beating, and in a very short amount of time. I wonder if the change of season
is spurring on this behavior? (amazingly, he seems to be ok btw, sans tail)
I haven't felt this bad since my veiled ate my ornata male.
Jason
