Hang in there, Liz.  Clearly, you did a great service to Picaso in bringing him back to health.  And now you can feel good about making a decision that is probably best for both the geckos and for yourself.   Au courage!

Subject: [Gecko] My absence

Hey all.

Please excuse my absence, I am going through hard times right now, another fish passed last night, and today I am giving Picaso and Carry a new home. I do not regret having taken them in, and I never planed on keeping them. I thank the powers above that I had the time with them and their trust. I just cannot deal with how fast they reproduce, and I know I could never deal with giving up the babies either. I also know Carry can lay to death if she isn't away from Picaso, I didn't know this when I won her, and I don't have the funds at the moment to set up a part time cage, in addition to dealing with a breeding trio of leopards, which was all I was going to do to start with. All the stress is kinda building and I cry every time I think about them, they are my babies. I took Picaso from almost dying to a hard to catch, health boy. They will always be in my heart, but that wont keep the tears away. Love sometimes means what's doing best for someone else, that sometimes mean! s letting go, which is what I have to do. Anyway, don't be to shocked if I'm not around for a few days.

Sorry.

Liz
