Pinkies are OK for an occasional treat, but are too fattening for regular feeding.
They are great to fatten up an egg laying mama. Some leos eat pinkies, some don't. I
have one who won't, not ever. I would think a pinky would be dead by the time it went
through the mail to you, pet stores will usually sell them. Feed the pinkie to your
gex as soon as possible for maximum nutritive value.
Silk worms have different nutrition than other insects, they are good for the gex. My
gex won't eat them at all, I don't know why. Mulberry farms is the place to get silk
worms. Do you have mulberry leaves to feed them?
Another good feeder insect is moths. My leos actually jump for the moths. I catch the
moths in a trap under my porch light.
I hope this helps,
Cyndy
