Sounds like coccidia to me, very common in dragons and gex.
It can be treated, but takes work and exceptional hygiene.
I've treated many imports, most have tested negative even years after,
but sometimes it is very stubborn and continually recurs. It doesn't
necessarily make the geckos sick, but if they are stressed it can
be serious. If the geckos are doing well and the level of coccidia is low,
just keeping the animals healthy and happy may be best.
Definitely check with a vet to decide which course of action is best.

I've never dealt with crypto. I haven't heard of any successful treatments.

Is it true that there is no cure for crypto?
I've also heard that EVERY bearded dragon in captivity would test
positive for crypto. Is this an old wives tale?
Its nice having Docs on the list- Is Doc Benson still lurking?

Maybe that was Coccicidia, not cryptosporidia? I'm SO CONFUSED!!!!!!!
