Reptile Bazaar!!! September 24th
North Bay Herpetological Society is proud to present our Ninth Annual
Reptile Bazaar on Saturday, September 24 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at
Herzog Hall, Petaluma Fairgrounds, in Petaluma California.
Some of the best private breeders from California will be on hand,
with animals for sale including leopard geckos, rainbow boas, sand
boas, carpet pythons, cornsnakes, kingsnakes, tarantulas, and bearded
dragons, to name just a few.
Also available will be cages, food, and supplies to tend your new
reptile, or to care for your current one...we will also have
caresheets and educational materials, as well as knowledgeable
members who can answer your reptile related questions.
Food and beverages for the humans will be available as well ;-)
Herzog Hall is located inside the Petaluma Fairgrounds, which is just
off of the Washington Boulevard exit from Highway 101. Admission is
just $5 for adults and only $2 for children under 12.

This annual event is completely organized and run by volunteer
members of NBHS. This enables us to fulfill our mission, which is to:
provide a forum for the exploration of the natural history and
captive ecology of reptiles and amphibians; explore conservation
issues affecting captive and wild herps; and provide education and
assistance to community organizations, animal rescue/advocacy
organizations, and pet stores.
The North Bay Herpetological Society (NBHS) was founded in Sonoma
County in 1993 by Melissa Kaplan, Karen Wofford and Judy Osterhout,
and is a registered non-profit organization. NBHS provides
educational outreach, with programs and exhibits for schools, nature
centers, and related animal, humane, and environmental education
events and organizations. Members of the Society also accept herps
needing homes and find suitable placements for them.
