I wrote in about a week ago for my leopard gecko. We have had her since early april and she has been wonderful. She normally ate huge amounts. But now she is eating nothing at all for over 2 weeks now. I do not know her age but she had some of her juvenile stripes when we got her but not anymore. I took her to the a herp vet. He looked her over and said she looked okay at that point. She weighed 25 gms when I brought her in a week ago. He said to watch her and see what happened in the next week or so. Well she is still not eating anything and she definitely seems more lethargic. She used to climb right up your hand and crawl all over you. Now she just seems to sleep. The vet recommended to increase her cage temp but I got a mercury thermometer (as Julie always advises) and checked the cage temps and they seem just fine. I gave her some powdered calcium in a dish an she did seem to lick up wuite a bit of it at first. She even passed some urine after that. But no urine or stool for almost a week now. There was some watery white stuff about 10 days ago. Impossible to bring the vet any samples as it soaked right into the carpet. She is not kept on sand. I dusted her food with T-Rex gecko supplement. I feed the crickets T-Rex cricket food and oranges. I clean and disinfect her cage with a diluted bleach solution. What am I doing wrong why will she not eat. I understand from my last posting that the change of season can reduce food intake but I think we are way beyond that now. I have a call into the vet but I just want to know if anyone has any suggestions. We have become so attached to her and I do not want her to suffer at all.
