Julie, Thanks for writing. The vet did not do a fecal because she has not passed a stool for at least 2 weeks. She did pass a little something after she ate her skin from shedding but for some reason she did it in her water dish so I was not able to save it. Do you think the procedure was not needed? Why would she have 5 cc of fluid on her abdomen. Her weights really are not accurate because of the fluid gain. Her tail is still fat and I don't see prominent hip bones. I have been offering her meal worms and wax worms but she shows not interest. She has not eaten anything for at least 3 1/2-4 weeks now. I have tried feeding her baby food from a syringe and she will lick a little off her mouth but mostly she just wipes her face on the cage to get it off. Not sure what else to do for her. Thanks, Lynn

Best advice is to offer mealworms or waxworms in a low dish and keep her quiet. No crickets. If she is having a problem, which I am not sure she is (many leopards slow down on eating during winter), you must keep her quiet and avoid invasive procedures as much as possible. Keep track of her weight and keep working with the vet. Julie B. Lynn Hall wrote: >I wrote in about a week ago for my leopard gecko. We have had her since >early april and she has been wonderful. I have not heard of it, what did the vet say is the cause? Julie B. Lynn Hall wrote: >I have been writing about my leopard gecko who suddenly stopped eating. >I took her back to the vet today.
