Hi Petra,

Whenever this happens you have to check the basics, temps, environment, etc for correctness. Use a good quality reference like a book specifically focusing on your type of gecko. Internet care sheets are dandy but only when written well...how is a novice to know this? Any sick gecko should be isolated and kept on paper towels. Also, not being within driving distance of a non-domestic vet is not a reason to not consult one. A fecal still needs to be done, this can be done by any vet, who will often work with a non-domestic vet. Be sure to check out:
