Hi All -
I have few Giant Day geckos, but I haven't mated any of them yet. I
noticed that one of the males, whose tank happens to be next to the
female's tank was changing colors today - he was going from dark green
to his normal lighter green color, and changing back and forth several
times in the few minutes that I had available to watch them (I've never
seen him do this before). I saw that he was staring at her (I think),
and I am wondering if this changing of color was because he was
attracted to her or was it territorial? I am inclined to think it was
territorial because he turned a dark color, which they do when they are
stressed, but I really have no idea. Any thoughts from anyone? I
really appreciate any feedback.
Thanks,
Dana
