[gecko]Help with Hemidactylus turcicus

I was brough a very young Hemidactylus turcicus that appeared in a  
package.  The gecko is all of 1 inch, snout to vent, and does not weigh 
in yet on my gram scale.  I have been feeding him chicken baby food 
mixed with pro-biotics(nutribac), as he will not take any offered 
insects.  I have offered pinhead crickets, newly born mealworms, fruit 
flies, etc. 

Does anyone have any thoughts or advice?  He seems to be growing fine, 
but obviously i would love to have him eating on his own.
