You have to provide a *complete* pcb-menu.res. Your sample is just a
snippet.
Ah.  Thanks.

Er...still can't duplicate your results:

Iload a pcb-menu.res and I know it is using it since it caught a missing }. run a bindkey --> Ctrl-V b

{"fat via 30 mils" a={"Ctrl-V b" "Ctrl<Keys>vb"} Atomic(Save) ChangeSize(SelectedVias,65,mil) Atomic(Restore) ChangeDrillSize(SelectedVias, 32, mil) Atomic(Block)}

and get this log window output;
Key "b" not tied to a multi-key action
Key "b" not tied to a multi-key action
Key "2" not tied to a multi-key action
Key "k" not tied to a multi-key action
Key "0" not tied to a multi-key action

If we could add components to libraries and reload pcb-menu.res files while pcb runs, (with several menus open and arranged on a xinerama two or three display screens), that would be even better, and it would be a program function that IPC could use also maybe?

Is there a howto about pcb lesstif pcb-menu.res? I read the pcb manual before asking, but could not find the detail about where and what form a local pcb-menu.res file was....

want me to write one and put it on gedasymbols.org or geda wiki once I getit figured out?

Will pcb-menu.res be used same way by GTK GUI eventually?
