The barrier is worse for the trailblazer. I think that the biggest
mistake of the Git developers with respect to Solaris installation was
to put
INSTALL = ginstall
in Makefile under SunOS. The workaround, however, is simple once you
know what it is.
Anyway, I have contributed to the wiki, as you suggested.
