That probably makes sense. However, I stumbled a bit the other night trying to figure out how to do a global renumbering of reference designators across a schematic and pcb that were nearly complete. Ended up doing quite a bit of manual file editing. Happy with the results, but it was more painful than I anticipated trying to change reference designators in my schematics and propagate them through the PCB design. Is this something for which there's a well-defined workflow that I just haven't stumbled over yet, or is this an area of weakness?
