Please keep in mind, that schematic editing, and PCB designing could be far
away from each other. I mean... someone designes a schematic, sends a forward
anno file, then you with your computer should be able to interpret that file.

When you have the schematic names in PCB entity, you can't do that. We
shouldn't mix the two. It is -flexibility.

Personally, I am quite happy with the gsch2pcb thing. Make is my friend! :-)
However, it could be better.
