Please let me qualify my answer. I used the CD to install gEDA on a couple of machines. Specifically, RS Core 3 and SuSE 9.2. I had no problems with either installation, but then again, I had all of the necessary dependencies already installed (I keep a CD with the sources to all of the various libs and such I know I need and when I do a new installation, this CD is the first thing I install onto the machine in question). So, I'm pleased with the CD and further, like it a lot because I can start the gEDA installation processes and know that everything will build and install properly without any worry whatsoever. In essence, my comment was referring to the ability of the CD to install on all major distro's without encountering distro-centric dependency issues or lib installed, but no found issues. I think the work you have do is great. The fact is, gEDA is tough to install if you've never done it before and your CD makes it real easy. Best regards Marvin
