Hi Al, I've been waiting that question.... FYI, I'm not happy with that choice, but it was the simple and easiest way I found. Do you have any pointers to a GPL software doing the same? I would be happy to try them!.
In the other hand, vnc2swf is GPL, and there IS a GPL flash player SWF v7 compliant: http://www.gnu.org/software/gnash/ Disclaimer: I haven't tested it myself.
