Hi, I am trying to work out the procedure for getting text written (in copper) on the copper side of the board to display correctly. At the moment, it displays with the same orientation as the components, which results in either a mirror image of the text when placed on the copper or a mirror image of the layout, depending on whether I flip the Postscript file or not.
I have seen references to "automagical flipping when placed on the copper side of the board", but I have yet to see this in action for anything except silkscreen text. Trying to cut the text to the buffer and mirror it resulted in an error message "You can't mirror a buffer that has text!". I suspect that I've done something wrong here, like place the components on the wrong side of the board - this is my first attempt at using PCB so I imagine I've made an obvious mistake :) However, the layout I've got will work, and I'd rather not do it all again for the sake of some text, so if there's a way to force PCB to flip the text (regardless of whether it believes that to be a good idea or not) that would be brilliant. I'm using AFAIK the most recently released version (20060822). Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
