A big thank you to the developers for the latest CVS gEDA version! I was extremely pleased with the changes implemented lately. Maybe small things for some, but I liked for example the new Autonumber text: refdes=* and the library sorting bug removed.
Maybe this is not the right place for my request, but I will try. Could someone implement in gschem (Symbol Editor) some sort of check box to prevent the red active end of a pin, and only that end, to leave accidentally the 100 mil grid (or whatever the default standard grid) ? I need to be able to work on any grid size with graphical elements but I would like the option to activate some sort of a safety net for the red pin ends only. This way I am sure I can place anything on any grid size and at the end my symbol will be still usable.
