I'm a hardware guy with lots of experience in building radios and audio systems (RF and audio). Are you interested in Akustica digital microphones? I"ve got a back burner want to see what their power draws are, and how their datastream starts up, and what minimal DSP functions are needed to decode that datastream (sigma delta data). Will go in a biologist sound monitoring system.
