Ack. There should be a better way to do this. A powerful search and replace dialog would be nice. Allow each and every attribute to match some regexp expression and change it according to some other expression. I liked such a feature with protel. It me allowed to do things with a snap, that would have been tedious otherwise. BTW, a related missing feature in gschem is the ability to exchange a component short of a delete and manually recreate the symbol. Ideally there would be a command to choose a replacement symbol from the lib, whose pins, location, rotation would be matched. If the same attributes exist in old and new symbol, they would be assigned the same value. Is such a not so dumb replacement already in the list of features to be? ---<(kaimartin)>--- -- Kai-Martin Knaak tel: +49-511-762-2895 Universität Hannover, Inst. für Quantenoptik fax: +49-511-762-2211 Welfengarten 1, 30167 Hannover http://www.iqo.uni-hannover.de GPG key: http://pgp.mit.edu:11371/pks/lookup?search=Knaak+kmk&op=get _______________________________________________ geda-user mailing list geda-user@moria.seul.org http://www.seul.org/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/geda-user
