I've just compiled geda-gaf-1.6.1 on my Debian Lenny system. Compilation went fine, using ./configure make make install
The following error message appears when I try to run gschem from the command line: gschem: error while loading shared libraries: libgeda.so.38: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory The file does exist (as a symlink) and it's in /usr/local/lib: total 1248 -rwxr-xr-x 1 root staff 1122 2010-05-31 21:31 libgeda.la lrwxrwxrwx 1 root staff 17 2010-05-31 21:31 libgeda.so -> libgeda.so.38.0.1 lrwxrwxrwx 1 root staff 17 2010-05-31 21:31 libgeda.so.38 -> libgeda.so.38.0.1 -rwxr-xr-x 1 root staff 1257783 2010-05-31 21:31 libgeda.so.38.0.1 drwxr-sr-x 2 root staff 4096 2010-05-31 21:31 pkgconfig drwxrwsr-x 3 root staff 4096 2009-05-24 17:58 python2.5 I'm guessing there's a linking error somewhere. Anyone got any ideas how to fix it? (I'm not too familiar with the use of ld, so apologies if this is a stupid question).
