Maybe this is too obvious, but if it is "update" or "forward
annotate", then why not call it that? One of the things that makes
learning a package difficult is having to learn new nomenclature.
As to toolbar vs. menu, I prefer to not clutter the toolbar with
things that aren't used a lot, especially when they have major
impacts on your work as in "opps, I didn't mean to click THAT
button". Since I switched to a laptop I find my accidental button
push rate has gone up a lot. Would an update operation be undoable?
