hi ya

thought i'd post some info and ask some dumb questions

setup:
        slackware-8.1 w/ linux-2.4.22  - k6-350 w/ 256MB

i d/l and installed gerbv-0.13 from sourceforge a while back
and is presumably the same as on http://geda.seul.org/source.html
        ( seul.org has the sme version numbers )

------

i'm creating a front panel pcb ...
        - power and reset switch
        - 3 leds ( power, hdd, fan )
        - incoming power connector(fd style), 2x 3-pin fan connector outgoing

1st draft attempt at the layout ...
        - downloaded eagle from cadsoft.de

resulting gerber files:
        http://Linux-1U.net/TNT/LedAssy-1.1/

        - how i output'd the gerber files
        ----------------------------------
                eagel->CAM->GerberAtuo ( top.gbr )

                eagel->CAM->Gerber274 ( top274.gbr )

                - did it for "top" and also for "bottom"

gerbv can see the top and bottom layers .. yippie
        but gerbv segfaults on top.gbr and bottom.gbr

just some feedback that gerbv works
        - getting some pcb fab houses to quote this itty-bitty board
        is becoming a nightmare :-)

some dumb questions ( guess i'll have to go find the eagle ml )
-------------------
        - how do i make a silk screen w/ eagle ?
        - how do i create a "drill file" ?
                how to tell eagle what size drill holes ?
        - how do i create a "gerber wheel file" ?

thanx
alvin
