You need to create a gattribrc file: ln -s gschemrc gattribrc
Try this command first. If that doesn't work, note that gattrib was most recently run against libgeda-20040710, which is available in CVS. Try getting the latest gEDA out of CVS and run gattrib against it. Once Ales does the next release, all these problems will be a thing of the past . . . .
