Hi Ron -- > So my questions are: > -is ngspice what I am looking for? A Linux circuit simulator?
Both ngspice and gnucap will work for you. Ngspice is exactly SPICE ported to Linux. Gnucap is a totally new circuit simulator with a more modern architecture than SPICE, but able to read SPICE syntax. The results from ngspice and gnucap should normally be identical for most work you will do. > -where can I find documentation for ngspice? http://www.brorson.com/gEDA/SPICE/ http://newton.ex.ac.uk/teaching/CDHW/Electronics2/userguide/ http://ngspice.sourceforge.net/ http://www.gnucap.org/ HTH, Stuart
