Today I was sorting pictures from last trip and I have to say that ability to mark pictures is really great. I was able to mark all "bad" photos as Mark 1, all "duplicate" photos as Mark 2 and later move it using the move command only twice (not for every photo). It saved me a lot of time. Back to the my story I think that "External link command" (which makes a (symbolic) link) would be very useful. Sometimes I make a symbolic links in a separate folder to photos to be printed (I don't have to duplicate those files) and later just copy it somewhere (cp follows links and copy real files). External link command should be customizable in Preferences window (like other commands are) to allow making symbolic (default) or hard links. Symbolic links cannot be done at some file systems (e.g. FAT), but then user would see and error from external command. What do you think about that?
