I'm pretty sure this is a problem that I found and created a fix for previously. See "[PATCH] Fix segfault when using a filename on the commandline" from 27 Feb 2012.
If you have that change (or equivalent), it may mean my change was incorrect or incomplete, in which case I can take another look.
