Interesting. By the way, I wasn't trying to contradict what you say, but more
point out that NeXTSTEP was a great media OS. But yes, all those NeXTSTEP
people didn't necessarily stay true to that cause.  The lure of heaps of money
thru iTunes is I guess too strong.
