Hi all,

I'm trying to run Fiasco.OC with L4 Runtime Environment on Gem5
(http://os.inf.tu-dresden.de/fiasco/). Unfortunately it uses the instruction
'int Ib' (software interrupt) for system-calls. This instruction is not
implemented in gem5. Is there a special reason for this? Are there any known
issues?

The reason I ask is because I have to decide to either modify the kernel to
use 'syscall' (there would be some difficulties) or to add the 'int' instruction
to gem5.

It might simply be that nobody had any reasons to implement it. I am not aware of any issues that prevent us from implementing it.
