Hey Dave,

Install the git commit hook:
f=`git rev-parse --git-dir`/hooks/commit-msg ; curl -Lo $f
https://gerrit-review.googlesource.com/tools/hooks/commit-msg ; chmod +x $f

Then run "git commit --amend"
