Dear All,

This is a reminder that the submission deadline for the gem5 Workshop @
ISCA 2026 proposals is in 2 days (Fri, April 24th, AoE).

We are excited to host the gem5 Workshop alongside ISCA 2026
<https://iscaconf.org/isca2026/> in Raleigh, North Carolina, on Sat, June
27th, 2026. The workshop brings together everyone who depends on gem5 from
long time maintainers to new researchers —to share updates, showcase work,
and shape the simulator’s future roadmap.

The official event page is available at: https://gem5.org/events/isca-2026.
This event page will be updated with the latest workshop details as
logistics and speakers are confirmed.

Call for Presentations

We invite 1-page proposals for 20-minute presentations (plus 5 minutes for
Q&A). The workshop is intentionally broad—if your topic advances gem5 or
shares actionable insight from using it, we want to hear it.

Submission requirements

   - Format: Single-page PDF (11pt+ font). Include the talk title,
motivation, key insights/contributions, current status, and what you plan
to present in June. Submissions are double-blind; please omit author names
   and affiliations.
   - Length of talk: Plan for 20 minutes + 5 minutes Q&A. We may adjust by
±5 minutes depending on the final slate of accepted talks.
   - How to submit: Upload the PDF via https://gem5workshop2026.hotcrp.com.
   - Attendance: At least one presenter per accepted talk must attend in
person on June 27th. Remote presentations are not planned.

Topics of interest

We welcome presentations on a broad range of gem5-related topics, including
but not limited to:

   - New features and models
   - Industrial applications
   - Software engineering and infrastructure improvements
   - Tools, visualizations, and analysis frameworks
   - User experiences and case studies
   - Integrations with other tools
   - Proposed research leveraging gem5

Review & selection

A small program committee drawn from gem5 maintainers, industry partners,
and student contributors will evaluate submissions for relevance, clarity,
and community impact. Reviews wrap up within a week so notifications can go
out by Fri, May 1st, 2026, giving speakers time to finalize travel before
ISCA deadlines.

Why present?

   - Influence the gem5 roadmap by sharing needs and lessons learned.
   - Highlight reproducible workflows and tooling that can benefit other
   teams.
